    The opening sequence is probably the best part of the whole film. Cage brings a sleazy coke energy that fits Atlantic City perfectly, and then ably pivots when he needs to. There are some cool camera movements and shot selections, but the inspiration seems to run out almost halfway through the film.

    Does a nice job of toeing the line between a schlocky true crime re-enactment and a B-movie style horror from the late 70s/early 80s. The non-linear storytelling actually ended up clueing me into what was going on way early, but the film almost seemed to anticipate that and throw me in another direction for a brief but welcomed moment. Something about the viewing experience irked me though. It felt entertaining, but a bit empty. Willa Fitzgerald absolutely killed it, and I hope to see her in a lot more interesting roles like this one.

    That whole stick of butter absolutely triggered me.

    It's interesting that a lot of people are equating this film to a piece of propaganda when the overarching theme of it is the ethical responsibilities of telling a story. The question of "whose story are we telling" comes up multiple times, and I felt like the filmmakers were explicit enough in communicating that they're not trying to unpack the complications of Israeli-Palestinian relations.
