I love an old film that calls out toxic masculinity and outdated ideas. And for that reason, Greg Peck is a better cowboy here than John Wayne ever was.
I 100% underrated this film the first time I watched it. There’s just so much more to appreciate after a second watch. For example, Jean Simmons. The Jim & Julie slow burn is
