A film that has a really good idea and does the best it can with what it has. The script and story, and the direction if I think about it, are really good. A premise of a teen slasher with people aware they are in a film of a teen slasher, it gives me wonderful Abed vibes.

What a pleasant surprise, I say using the word pleasant rather incorrectly.
The found footage haunted film genre is bloated and trying to find a new twist on it is tough; this working is a shock. Nice twists, fun premise, annoying lead who you weren’t sure if you wanted to love or die really works.
Fully recommend even if it isn’t amazing m, it’s good fun.
It’s easy to crap all over this as it’s impossible to work out how the budget was as big as it was and we got very little in the way of performances from the leads. But if you thought you were going to get more out of Chris Pratt than a watered down Star Lord or Millie Bobby Brown as more than a plank of wood with a wig then that’s on you.
