I didn’t laugh so much, but I cried, and that counts for a lot. I went in with moderated expectations, and low opinions of Ariana Grande, but she was fantastic, as was Cynthia Erivo. I loved it, and it ends in strong anticipation for a fairly bleak second instalment.
