    Not even laughably bad. Just BAD.
    I mean, who even edited this? With the exception of the fight scenes which are just a blurry mess, every shot is just TOO LONG. Example: there is a shot of a closed elevator door that lasts for 14 seconds whilst we wait for our heroes to emerge. That's an eternity in film making terms. 😆

    Disappointing. I had really high hopes for this but for me, it's Eggers' weakest film so far.
    Visually stunning and with some great moments but up until Willem Defoe shows up, quite boring.
    And who the hell thought Aaron Taylor Johnson would be a good idea?
