My Dead Friend Zoe 2024
So very cool to have seen the short film version of this at Austin a few years back and now seeing the feature get made. It’s pretty standard straightforward narrative, even if well written, filmmaking and it would have benefited from a few genre subversions at points but it’s the fact that there’s a lot of heart and a great cast that makes the difference here.
