This movie works on the same logic as John Wick movies, except the dogs are alive and well. This plays out like a graphic novel, sometimes dark misery and sometimes a dog heist mission - tonally messy but captivating enough to have it forgiven.
It’s refreshing to watch a movie where queerness, ”being the devil”, is at the very core but the movie definitely is not about being queer - nor does it ever ask ’the question about gender’ as much as it tells a tale of finding small parts of yourself and a sense of belonging, no matter how dire your surroundings.

Absolutely loved the character dynamics in this, made the movie for me. Especially liked the ending and the emotional connections there. Entertaining gunslinging even though nobody really hits anything in the big scenes. Chase scenes are way cooler with horses than they are with cars and horses go clippety clop in this movie so that’s great. I do recommend this a lot 👌
