In Bitconned, we are confronted with the infuriating tale of Ray Trapani, a man who skillfully exploited the crypto boom, swindling people out of hundreds of millions without facing any prison time. The film vividly portrays the stark reality where the poor remain in their plight while the rich continue to amass wealth unchecked. A powerful narrative that exposes the harsh consequences of financial deceit in the midst of a cryptocurrency frenzy.

You always worry about a movie like this turning into a vanity project for the writer, director, priducer, and star. But Dan Levy does an incredible job playing the role of a grieving widow. He skillfully navigated the delicate balance between portraying the pain of loss and injecting moments of subtle humor or vulnerability. The scene in the Louvre stands out as an excellent example that showcases Levy's talent.
