In an era of blockbusters which have felt for the most part disappointing, it's incredible to see a film like this which isn't just one of the strongest and most direct anti-capitalist, anti-trump, pro-revolution gonzo sci-fi movies, but a beautiful look into how we perceive ourselves and get in our own heads about things. Also helps that it has beautiful design work and perfect craft in all elements. Love, love, LOVE this movie!

Spider-Man: No Way Home 2021
Every moment feels almost entirely engineered for the purpose of making people point at the screen and say "reference?" So much of this film is built around the hype of actors to the point that it was considered a spoiler to even know that certain actors were in this film. Black Widow 2021
I would have thought that I'd at least get the mildest kick out of this. I've been put off of MCU movies for a while, so after I finished WandaVision earlier in the year I swore off the MCU until the next film came out, hoping I'd regain at least a surface level of entertainment for the series.
