  Gerard Butler has slowly become one of my favourite modern actors. I feel like he’s play this character trope in a lot of his films and it suits him so perfectly. I couldn’t see anyone else play this style and tone of character besides him.

  i really want to give this film a proper rating because ultimately the concept, the filming & twists of this movie is quite unique and was very interesting but alas, AI once again ruining what will inevitably give in to a common practice instead of their creation of true media art. the title cards using AI and sloppy affects really leave a sour taste in my mouth in what i consider to have really enjoyed every other aspect.

  i enjoyed this film quite a lot but can we please stop being lazy and just get an editor to make the title cards lol

  On a surface level, yeah this is Indian John Wick. 

  However this film is absolutely more than just that. to get it out of the way, yes the action/fighting scenes are incredibly thrilling, high octane gory cinematic masterpieces. the follow cams, the lighting, the atmosphere in every room mixed with gritty combat feels so authentic & captivating.   another absolutely unsettling film from director Kurosawa and while i might be biased due to his film “Kairo” being my favourite horror movie, this still might be his best work yet. 

  Always living on edge with how each murder is portrayed in such a calm unsettling way, especially when all normality seems to be in place keeps the viewers on edge the entire movie. constantly using environmental story telling & long drawn scenes to inflict a sense of dread and horror.…
