I'm happy it got made and I had a good time overall. I didn't really feel super attached to the characters. Although, seeing Nasha comforting Mickey as he dies that one time did bring a tear to my eye. I think the most interesting thing in the whole movie is when 17 and 18 are discussing a memory of theirs and their remembrances of it differ based on their personality. Interesting idea to think about. Robert Pattison is going to have such an interesting filmography to look back on. I think I found Ruffalo and Toni Collette's performances a little grating.

Probably 80 of the 100 mins are static or near static images. The creepy distorted voice and the ear shattering jump scares lose their novelty fast, and beyond that this movie has very few scares to offer. The wub-wub sound is absolutely hilarious and completely destroys any immersion that exists.…

Axiom 2022
Missed the first 5-10 mins of this which I sort of feel like strangely enhanced my viewing pleasure. Felt like a dad who wandered into the living room and realized the Godfather was on and stood there for the next 2 hours watching.
Interesting look at compulsive/pathological lying. Also interesting if you try to look at it through a class or social media lens.
