Was okay. Standard two good looking guys fall in love and have a formulaic relationship. Probably would be better if there was a Cert. 15 cut like I keep reading.
But there wasn’t a single run in with someone from the EDL and they weren’t chased down the street by a group of teens yelling “bumder” or “Faggot”. Not the Britain I grew up/came out in. Sad.
I watched this after a 10hr shift so I might be extra harsh but it was fucking boring.
Loved Pheobe Waller-Bridge though as always.

It was… ineffable? I don’t think I have the right words to describe how this film made me feel.
I have so many questions,
Why was Gordy so important?
Why was the alien here?
Was it an alien?
Is there only one?
I think my main issue is a self caused one, I hyped this film up so much in my head, searching the trailer for clues, trying to build some kind of story up from it, was it going…
