Red One 2024
Overwhelmingly average in every way. The whole thing felt like an edgier Santa Clause sequel. None of the actors were really playing outside of their comfort zones. I would have expected the special effects to have been better considering a $3,500,000 budget, but when you have to fork over Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans money, you have to make cuts where you can. If you’re looking for a cheesy action movie with a holiday twist, this is for you.
Do I regret watching it? No.
Will it make it into my yearly repertoire of holiday movies? Doubtful.Translated from by

The Librarian: Quest for the Spear 2004
TNT knows, well, mediocrity. A mash up of Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, and I guess Van Wilder? Decent enough notable cast members that I’m sure were paid for by saving money by using a royalty free version of a popular song used in for fight scenes from a little 2003 movie that rhymes with Hill Mill. There is a cheesy CGI plane and the opening credits are all in papyrus.
