Very very good, very long movie that I didn't really like all that much. Beautifully crafted, tight script, fantastic performance; I'm just not a huge fan of fall from grace stories. Power corrupts us all I know, i know, but personally I wanna see more Cate Blanchett accordion play-screaming. That I liked.

Really good show by dir Rob Bowman too I think. It's a good movie! Stylish! Exciting! Romantic! Alieny! Kinda the best txf has to offer in one go.

Nah. I mean, it was fine? As always with Nolan movies it was technically and visually beautiful but lacking in character, story, plot, literally every other way. The script was terrible, 3 hours of characters explaining what's happening. Such an incredibly fertile subject matter and somehow he turned it into The Prestige 2: Oppie vs. RDJ.
I thought perhaps he'd have gotten better at writing women. Somehow he's gotten worse. Does he realize they're people, just like you and me?…
