  Very good and entertaining! But when your name is ridley scott and you have the ability to make such impactful and satisfying action set pieces I think it's your duty to make them last more than 5 min and also cut a little bit of those long stretches of dialogues that undermine pretty much half of the picture.

  Shocked to know that a good artisan like Villeneuve is behind one of the worst turds of 2021, an astonishingly dull and amorphous film without an ounce of ambition where each character seems emptied of their soul, wandering in a setting of incredible ugliness (send that DP and the whole art department to the gulag). The linearity of the story and the action is unheard of, and never in my life have I witnessed a less engaging universe being set for 150 fucking minutes.

  Watching these "performances" for 2hrs was almost enough to make me hate professional actors. Carey mulligan seems to be the only one in this mess whose ambition is to *just* embody her character without making big gestures and she still has to manage with all these terrible lines. Dialogues disconnected from actions, overexplaining what happens and what has already happened on screen. Utterly boring.
