2nd time apparently, but I don't recall watching it before tonight.
It plays out like a cheaper Count of Monte Cristo, some intrigue and revenge etc. But The Secret in their Eyes fails in its final analysis of redemption.

So brilliantly shot. Distressing soundtrack throughout, with punctuated experimental music. Very real, but not like other realistic films (Dardennes, Haneke, etc.).
What a ride.
Quest film in 4 acts.
Anything I want to say about this would be a spoiler and this is one movie you don't want spoiled.
Well, I will say that while I recognized the genius and potency if Aster's first two films, I was deeply distracted from that by the graphic nature of the films. It wasn't the case with Beau is Afraid - I was able to fully engage this one.
