Okay, WTF. Actually overwhelmed by how god damn enjoyable this movie was. My cheeks hurt from smiling the entire duration.
So beautiful to watch and endlessly creative. I’m in shock.
Such a good way to reinvigorate superhero movies and introduce audiences to the concept of Legacy characters... I feel the MCU might borrow from this movie once certain actors contracts run out.
Parts of the film haven’t aged well but you can still see why Halloween is considered a cornerstone of the genre.
The score, camera work and lighting still REALLY give of a chilling vibe in 2018 so it’s easy to overlook some of the bad acting and dialogue.

Definitley not great, but not terrible either.
Whole movie felt very safe and run of the mill.
Too much forced fan service and Cameos. Too much time spent trying to add significance to things in Hans past that nobody really asked for/cares about.
