  A devastatingly effective piece of art that I feel myself sadly relating to more and more as I get older. I was fighting back tears for the majority of this thing, and I don’t know when I’ll have the mental gumption to revisit it.

  I think I could write for days about how much I love this movie, but I don’t have time for that. So I’ll just say this:

  - Under no circumstances should this movie work, but it does. With maybe any other director, it would just wind up a tonal mess.
