The Brutalist 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Sharp writing (for the most part) and gorgeous cinematography, albeit unfocused and a little indulgent in length.
This movie seems to strive for a lot, hints of commentary on classism and religion. But the plot wavers too much to properly deliver on these concepts.
The epilogue of this film opens with a GarageBand beat reminiscent of the 80s and @aidenbags and I were trying not to laugh. This film is redeemed by its cinematography, acting and directing.

Free Guy 2021
Surprisingly great comedy movie with an unexpectedly creative premise. Ryan Reynolds at this point is classic comic relief hero guy but he’s still likeable in this film. A lot of substance here and highly entertaining. Cool and good. I need someone to help me boof a suppository. I will pay $2 an hour, it’ll take a while so the pay will add up in the end, I just need to get past Sydney international airport customs. Lube will be supplied.
