How can you make a Tom and Jerry movie without them being the central characters? There's maybe 15 minutes of T&J action, with the rest being centered around an urban hotel/employment drama. One extra half star for the performance of Pasty Ferran.

It's difficult to understand how quickly this series lost an understanding of its central conceit. The whimsical implausible fantasy of the first film is all but forgotten, instead replaced with a couple of tired stock plots worthy of a 50's Lassie film, complete with mustache-twirling villain.
