Quite spooky, this really hits the spot for horror things that give me the chills.
Sometimes a little cringe but to be fair, that’s part of the charm of the horror genre.Update: I was gonna give this 4 stars but then I thought, “But why?” about kinda the whole movie and now it’s 3 and a half stars.

When I was in elementary school, my friend at the time said Batman was cooler than Spiderman (who was my favorite superhero) and this was before any of the Christopher Nolan Batman films, and I was a follower so I then decided Batman was my favorite instead of Spiderman even though I didn’t know much about Batman yet.

You know what’s a really good way to make your villain scary? Give it a funny little rat friend with a human face and a silly old-timey accent, and then have your villain with fire.gif eyes make out with the protagonist, and then make sure that the third act especially is so generic and cringey that you’re in more pain than the nun with glass in her cheek, I think that’s a really good idea 👍
