A short classic about a woman living a life of crime to serve the purposes of the mob of men she chooses to hang around. Using her levers of influence she befriends a Christian politician who eventually develops romantic feelings for her. The politician has a choice, send her away to prison or live a life with her together. This criminal romance has its ups and downs with a simple tone throughout the film. Forgiveness in men is sometimes just as simple as it is, if you love someone enough you’ll believe they can change no matter what.

This showcases the absolute dangers for those that are deported and left stranded in Central America. Fighting until the death by getting a job that almost undoubtedly leads to death. The wild and desperate nature of the characters in this movie helps illustrate what happens to those who have been deported. They still have to live life for survival and this is how corporations capitalize on this misfortunes of others. Corporate greed is the absolute most inhumane enemy in this world and often leads to the destruction of humanity.

The depth of his character in this film is worth watching. My gripe is that…

If you are a fan of the original 1979 ALIEN film from Ridley Scott, then you will love this film. The proper use of AI, the graphic horror of the appearances of the aliens, the perfect pacing of getting to know the characters before the death show begins, and the appropriate appearances and references to the other ALIEN franchise films make this movie very fun and entertaining to watch. Fede Alvarez really brought a lot of enthusiasm towards honoring the…
