It's a miracle that they get this show to air week after week. I've watched docs of how they do it and it still feels like an absolute marvel to me. And I love how this film dramatizes the chaos of the minutes before the first show.
First off: incredible casting choices. Expressive people that somehow look remarkably like the folks they're playing. I don't know many of the names here, but they all did great.

This was a fun Christmas Eve watch! A little spooky, but never truly scary. Good songs, good atmosphere, fun characters. Overall a good time!
I think my main critique is that the plot is a little light. Very much glossing over lots of stuff. And I think that's ok in a not super long stop-motion animation film, but I definitely felt it.
But that animation and modeling, awesome stuff. All of the characters were very expressive and unique. Brought a super cool vibe to the film that you just don't see in almost anything else.
If you've watched Inside, you should watch this. Immediately.
Cut songs. Cut bits. And a bunch of cool behind the scenes stuff. I particularly enjoyed how he showed the many takes of some songs all at once, and how quickly some failed, while others were so close.
But really it's all about Bezos III and Bezos IV.

So this movie is pretty silly, but it's also a lot of fun. I'm definitely pre-disposed to liking stuff like this (points to The Truman Show in my favorites), but I think it has pretty broad appeal. I liked how they portrayed Guy and the other NPCs. I'm glad it only took like 4 or 5 minutes for them to accept "okay we're fake".
