  I thought that the exposition and first act as a whole was spectacular and had me completely hooked. Once the film took some turns, I wasn’t as sucked in as I had been. However, the film is very character driven and does a nice job of keeping that consistent, specifically with Ani, the female lead. I also felt that the pacing started to sputter a bit in the latter half of the film but the ending delivers with a complex and thought-provoking finish. Grade: A-

  Man oh man. I felt like I was watching the same thing for an hour straight. This definitely was not for me. It hooked me at first with the restaurant scene having a surprising amount of suspense as we wait for Art to do something awful. Then 75% of the movie is spent in a building where the characters run in circles until we reach a point where Art has boobies. Grade: F

  Definitely shades of both Zodiac and Silence of the Lambs in this one. Had inconsistent pacing but Nic Cage fully commits and the esthetic makes it worth a watch. Grade: B+
