Captain America: Brave New World 2025
An MCU entry certainly not without its flaws, but it’s a good film for the most part. Anthony Mackie as Cap works well for me and I’m glad to see Carl Lumbly have a big role in the story (for as muddied as it may be throughout). Plus, we get Harrison Ford in the MCU, who says no to that?

Homefront 2013
Finally scrolled past enough tiktoks of it to just open Max and watch it. It’s one of the movies of all time. Just your good ol fun 2am balls to the wall Statham film. It’s also hilarious to watch his thick English accent in the Deep South state of Louisiana. Shouts out Minnesota’s own Winona Ryder.
