Doesn’t reach the heights of the book imo, but a good adaptation nonetheless. I really liked the layer of separation the rotoscoping added to a story about how we see ourselves and others

I can’t believe a movie can look this good. A really incredible adaptation of a very dense source material. I wouldn’t really make any changes on what was cut from the plot and I was amazed at the parts they kept in (if I could change one thing it would be to give more characterization to Yueh. There was a scene with him and Lady Jessica that was cut). None of the world-building or character moments were played as tongue-in-cheek…
