My name is Amani, a Palestinian mother from Gaza. I live with my five children under the death unimaginable conditions. Since October 7th 2023 We lost everything because of war: safety, learning and even the most basic necessities of life.

From the first day of the war, we left the home we grew up in, leaving behind unforgettable memories, of children laughing in the corners. We took little with us, and left a lot of our hearts there.

We were displaced from one place to another, carrying my children and our shattered dreams, searching for a safe haven to protect us from the death that stalks us at every moment. The road was not easy, and displacement was not a decision, but rather a necessity for survival.

We lived in tents, where there is no roof that protects from rain, and no walls that cool down or protect from the heat. The nights were long and cold, and the pain was always a companion.

I am raising my children alone. I do everything I can provide them with food, ,warmth, and education . I dream of seeing them grow up in a safe place, where they can learn and live with dignity—just like every child in the world deserves.

All I ask for is a chance:

• A chance to buy the basics for my children—food, medicine, and clothes.

• A chance to give them the education they deserve.

• A chance to escape danger and travel as soon as possible with them to a safe place where our right to life is respected.

I had a beautiful life, suddenly I do not know how I lost my life, we live in a tent that can only accommodate 3 people, made of nylon that no human can bear, just standing in it for more than two minutes during the day is enough to melt you, in addition to insects, diseases and lack of privacy, imagine all this!! In addition, my father had a stroke due to the loss, and my mother also needs care due to chronic diseases and the lack of treatment, and her condition is getting worse.
