Przysługujący widmom wywrotowy, niemalże rewolucyjny potencjał został odsunięty oraz zagubiony poprzez pozbycie się tej kontrowersyjnej kategorii z terytorium metafizyki i zbyt pośpieszne odesłanie jej do przestrzeni badań nad literaturą, sprowadzając ją jedynie do roli użytecznego, bezpiecznego narzędzia interpretacji.

Książka Andrzeja Marca odzyskuje niepokojący charakter widmontologii i ponownie wprowadza widma do myśli metafizycznej. Czym nawiedzona i przeniknięta jest tradycyjna metafizyka, co właściwie ją dręczy, nie daje spokoju oraz nieustannie podmywa jej stabilność?

Kategoria widma Derridy posłużyła Marcowi przede wszystkim do rozważań nad charakterem współczesności i przeobrażeń, jakie dokonały się w obrębie myśli ponowoczesnej. Współczesna kultura, zdaniem Marca, stała się miejscem powstawania widm, nieustannie powracających z przeszłości. Uznając, że nie jesteśmy już w stanie tworzyć utopijnych wizji przyszłości, autor stara się zdać sprawę z widmowego charakteru współczesnej kultury, analizując m. in. strategie vintage, retro, nurt no future w kulturze lat 70. czy nurt fantastyki naukowej w literaturze.

El desarrollo, a lo largo de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación ha transformado profundamente la sociedad, la academia y las formas de generación de conocimiento. El indiscutible impacto social de este fenómeno ha modificado significativamente las ciencias sociales y las humanidades, las cuales viven un tiempo de redefinición, cuestionamiento y puesta en valor en un contexto social cada vez más hiperconectado.

Ello ha motivado el desarrollo de múltiples propuestas conceptuales que se han  tratado de recoger, en este volumen, bajo la denominación de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades Digitales, queriendo abarcar una doble vía de reflexión,  la que se desarrolla, por un lado, bajo las Humanidades Digitales y, por otro, bajo la e-Research.

El libro pretende contribuir a mostrar las formas en las que las humanidades y las ciencias sociales  en el contexto hispano están enfrentando un cambio de paradigma cultural motivado por la irrupción de las tecnologías digitales. Su objetivo es promover este tipo de investigación y visibilizar su comunidad de investigadores.

El libro comienza con un capítulo introductorio sobre las Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades Digitales y se estructura en tres bloques. El primero, “Investigaciones en torno al estado de la cuestión de las Humanidades Digitales y la e-Research” comprende tres capítulos en los que se aborda una panorámica de las Humanidades Digitales y de la e-Research en el contexto hispano.

El segundo bloque “Potenciales usos de Internet y de la Web social para la investigación en ciencias sociales y humanidades” incluye, aportaciones que van desde los métodos (Big Data o Webmetría) hasta el análisis de fenómenos digitales (iniciativas P2P) pasando por algunas reseñas de proyectos.

En el último bloque, “Experiencias sobre investigación colaborativa y sobre enseñanza-aprendizaje en el contexto de la e-Research y las Humanidades Digitales”, se aborda una propuesta de Tesis 2.0 y una experiencia de formación basada en TEI.

The purpose of this study was to assess 171 employees' job satisfaction and job commitment using two questionnaires, one to evaluate job satisfaction and one to examine commitment of the respondents to their respective jobs. The Job Satisfaction Questionnaire assessed job security, job status, relations with managers, and relations with colleagues. The desire to fulfill the commitments related to job requirements was tested using the scores on the Organizational Commitment Scale which measures discipline, concern, and updating. Scores on job satisfaction and the desire to fulfill job commitments were correlated; however, scores on job security were not correlated with the motivation towards job fulfillment. Positive satisfaction for relations with managers and with colleagues and job status were significantly correlated with positive job commitment. Decentralisation facilitates participation and helps deepen democracy. Nevertheless, it has been confronted with diverse challenges in Lesotho. First, the process has not succeeded to improve participation relative to the traditional system that preceded it. Second, it pitted the chiefs against counsellors. Third, it is hampered by lack of financial resources, human resources and the central government's tendency to intrude in local government's affairs and dictate the course of action. However, the prospects demonstrate that there ispolitical will to decentralise although there is still need to addresssome challenges. Firstly, the central government has to devolve financial powers to the local units.Secondly, it has to ensure a smooth relationship between counsellors and chiefs and continue augmenting the budget allocated to the local government. Finally, it has to promote the use of internet technology and consider making chieftainship the last sub-unit of the local government.

Resumo O presente artigo aborda a relação entre Estado e movimentos sociais, analisando tanto os efeitos colaterais das políticas estatais sobre os movimentos sociais quanto sua dinâmica relacional direta. No primeiro caso, é destacado o processo de desenvolvimento capitalista e as mudanças na forma do estado, com a consequente reordenação das políticas estatais e como isso atinge, indiretamente, os movimentos sociais. No segundo caso, é abordado a relação direta entre Estado e movimentos sociais, mostrando sua dinâmica relacional tanto por iniciativa estatal quanto por iniciativa civil. A conclusão geral do artigo é a de que as mudanças nas formas de Estado (que faz parte da sucessão de regimes de acumulação) atingem os movimentos sociais, de forma direta ou indireta. Em cada forma estatal, alguns movimentos sociais e ramificações são fortalecidos, outros são enfraquecidos, seja por incentivo das políticas estatais, seja por problemas das ações estatais em sua relação com a sociedade civil. Da mesma forma, as formas assumidas pelo Estado capitalista atingem os grupos sociais de base dos movimentos sociais e por isso também podem fortalecer ou enfraquecer um determinado movimento social. Outra conclusão foi a de que as várias formas assumidas pela iniciativa estatal voltada diretamente para os movimentos sociais, tais como a cooptação, a burocratização, a repressão e a omissão variam de acordo com o país, a época, a correlação de forças do bloco dominante, entre outras determinações. El escenario es prometeico: la goma construye fortunas en medio de la selva, se planean ferrocarriles que modernizarán el país, se trazan proyectos para canalizar los ríos y las firmas caucheras inician una carrera naval que transforma la navegación precaria de canoas, monterías y batelones. El discurso tecnófilo plantea al vapor como una revolución copernicana que lo cambia todo: posibilita el progreso social y el desarrollo económico, aniquila el tiempo y el espacio, libera el transporte de las constricciones de la geografía, refuerza la soberanía nacional en la frontera. ¿Pero conviene reducir el barco cauchero a ícono del progreso civilizador o a un mecanismo de la agenda nacionalista? Purpose of the study: India and Japan share strong cultural and economic ties. The economic relationship between the two Asian giants strengthened with the signing of the CECA agreement during the year 2011. The current research would focus on assessing the bilateral trade relations between both the countries and attempts to identify the commodity trade potential to enhance the future trade between them. Methodology: The study is based on secondary sources of data collected through the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development, WTO, IMF, RBI, and the Japanese Trade Databases. The annual data for the period 2005 to the year 2016 has been used to analyse the Intensity Indices and the Gravity Coefficient values between India and Japan. Similarly, the annual data from the year 2008 to 2015 is used to calculate the RCA and RID index values and finally, the average RCA and RID (2008-2016) are used for analysis to identify the commodity trade potential between both the countries....

This paper discuss about the influx policy that should be taken by the government. Project-induced-in-migration (or influx) is the movement of people from area outside project-impacted zone to the project-impacted zone. This study was conducted in Woliata Zone of Southern Ethiopia where the practice of child trafficking is one of the most challenging problems and happing at alarming rate. Its aim was to assess prevalenceof child trafficking; to identify and investigate the causes and consequences of child trafficking in the study area and finally to analysis demographic and socioeconomic characteristics of trafficked children and parents of the victims. For the purpose of this study primary data were collected from 90 trafficked children in three administrative towns and 87 parents of the victim in four rural woredas (districts) of the zone. In addition, key informant interview and focus group discussion were used to supplement the survey with qualitative information. Secondary data were also collected from various relevant sources. Descriptive statistics was applied to characterize the survey children's and parents' social, economic and demographic factors. The finding of the study revealed that the basic livelihood assets like farm size is very small and is not in position to enable families of trafficked children to generate adequate income and access to food in sustainable way. Majority of the survey parents (75.9%) owned no oxen during the survey period. Themean age of trafficked children was 13.2 years old with minimum age was 8 years. About 57.8% trafficked children reported that food access for their family is very bad. Friends/peer pressure, brokers and families are the major agents of child trafficking in the study area. The large proportion (92.4%) of the survey children reported that poor economic condition of their family is a major factors which facilitate the processes. Labour exploitation is a common practice among trafficked children. Majority of the interviewed children reported that their life situation after trafficking is worst. Out of total survey children about 76.6% dropped education. The data from both the survey and key informant interview depicted that trafficked children are facing a serious negative consequences like punishment, unfair payment, hunger, poor health (sickness) and labour exploitation, sleeping under ditch/homelessness, begging, rape, psychological, mental and physical abuse. Many children had no knowledge about the negative consequences of the trafficking before exposure. The results of this study therefore suggest that government and other concerned bodies to give considerable attention in designing relevant strategies to overcome the existing problem of child trafficking.

The world’s increasing population together with the amount of calories needed to meet dietary requirements has intensified food security concerns. As a result, the world’s energy demand has correspondingly risen mainly due to the preference for sophisticated food production-(usually energy–demanding), as well as mechanization of the food supply chain. Renewable energy has been pivotal in meeting the above demands by means of energy for food processing, storage and transport.

The surge in food prices has gained widespread consideration. Many factors such as cost of farm inputs, climatic patterns and land tenure systems account for the food price increases observed in recent decades. There is also common knowledge that renewable energy particularly –bioenergy as being a cause of the above. The quest for a safer energy against conventional fossil fuels has made first generation biofuels the go-to option resulting in competition for resources that would have otherwise been used to produce food or consumed as food. Hence the food price increments.

Bioenergy production may have a variable effect on food prices. Whereas the cultivation of first generation bioenergy crops can increase prices, it could also be the catalyst to induce investment in agriculture to increase crop yields that would ultimately stabilize prices. In the situation where resources for staple crops are shifted to   bioenergy feedstock, staple food prices would soar due to shortages. This suggests many people are likely to remain in perpetual hunger unless crops yields are enough to meet the dimensions of food security –availability, access, utilization and stability.

Food security and bioenergy have positive synergies as stated earlier. For example, while higher prices may boost local economies, bioenergy could strengthen food availability, access, utilization and stability to ensure food security. Additionally, bioenergy could mitigate energy deficiencies especially in the countryside. Proper management would be essential to ensure bioenergy production does not occur at the detriment of local livelihoods –notably food production and its consumption.

These poems, composed in Somali and in English, provide a poetic reflection of the recently emerged debate on the theme of Caddaan Studies which means "White Studies". The topic of disruptive technology and our calling suited the author's background in online education and international faculty development. The author has also worked for the impact to go the other way, from the Humanities and Social Sciences to new technologies, which tend to be rudderless or even dangerous unless guided by ethics and, in education, pedagogy. There is presented an urban proposal of alterations within public spaces concerning urban floor modernization in a chosen part of Wilda district in Poznan. The research conducted with students with a use of a brainstorming method as well as conlusions that were drawn out, were treated as a starting point of a discussion about possible and needed changes in existing public spaces of the district. The guidelines for future alterations were presented in a Municipality of Poznan and resulted in their practical use.

Portfolio assessment as an alternative to assessing L2 competence is an interesting endeavour in Applied Linguistics. This study starts from a simple premise:  human practices are a fundamental constituent — arguably “the” fundamental constituent — of social reality.  It then poses the following question:  What would social scientists’ research look like if they took this insight quite seriously?

That, of course, would depend on what practices are in fact like:  what their generic features are, how they are constituted, how they might be identified and characterised and explained, how they function in concrete contexts, how they might change across time and space.  These are the kinds of questions that this book tries to tackle, insisting that their answers hold important implications for the effective practice of social science.

The book thus attempts to build a philosophical infrastructure for the empirical study of practices in the social sciences and humanities.  At the same time, it also tries to explore the implications of this ontology of human practices for issues in social theory and in the philosophy of the social sciences.  The book thus stands at the intersection of the philosophy of social science, social theory, and the social sciences.

The structure of studies of moral education is basically interdisciplinary; it includes moral philosophy, psychology, and educational research. This essay systematically analyses the structure of studies of moral educational from the vantage points of philosophy of science. Among the various theoretical frameworks in the field of philosophy of science, this essay mainly utilizes the perspectives of Lakatos’s research programme. In particular, this essay considers the relations and interactions between different fields, including moral philosophy, psychology, and educational research. Finally, the potential impacts of the new trends emerging from natural sciences that seem to be challenging to existing theoretical frameworks of moral education are examined using the vantage points of philosophy of science.

Ces stratégies renvoient à l'ensemble des pratiques de médiation et de médiatisation employés par des organisations citoyennes, professionnelles ou politiques - partis, syndicats, associations, groupes d'intérêt, collectifs informels ou réseaux - qui cherchent à publiciser et politiser leurs revendications à recruter de nouveaux membres et à bénéficier de soutiens dans le champ du pouvoir. Positionné au quatrième semestre du Parcours Communication (niveau Licence 2), le cours se déroule sur douze séances (voir calendrier ci-après). UNFOLDING THE HISTORY OF THE QUADRICENTENNIAL ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCHES IN THE PROVINCE OF CAMARINES NORTE

Being a devoted Roman Catholic, born and raised in the same faith by equally devoted parents, the researcher took a heartfelt fascination on how religion could influence, shape and reshape his immediate society, the Province of Camarines Norte. The study attempted to document the history and significant contributions of the Quadricentennial Roman Catholic Churches in the Province of Camarines Norte. Specifically, this study answered the following questions: 1)What is the historical background of the quadricentennial Roman Catholic Churches in the Province of Camarines Norte?; 2)What are the significant contributions of the quadricentennial Roman Catholic Churches in terms of: 2.1 Education, 2.2. Family Orientation, 2.3. Social Awareness and Responsibility, 2.4. Political Practices; 3) What supplementary reference material in teaching Araling Panlipunan in the K to 12 Curriculum can be made based from the findings of the study?
The research evolved along the historical unfolding and significant contributions of the quadricentennial churches of the province namely St. John the Baptist Church (Daet), Our Lady of the Candle Church (Paracale), and St. Peter the Apostle Church (Vinzons).
The study was conducted from July to August 2017. The oldest living local folks, active church youth leaders and the present parish priests of the quadricentennial churches were the key informants. To validate the responses from the structured and unstructured interviews, the quantitative method was utilized with the parish pastoral council as respondents. The researcher also employed documentary analysis and observation. The mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative methods) and historical design and descriptive evaluation were employed.

Findings
The major findings of the study are:
1. The quadricentennial churches of Camarines Norte remain as stunning features and silent witnesses to the rich culture and history of the Province of Camarines Norte. These centuries-old churches are proofs of early civilization, colonization and perpetuation of Catholicism and are tangible symbols of the rich cultural heritage, beliefs and traditions of the local folks.
2. The quadricentennial churches of Camarines Norte contribute very significantly to Education, 2.67 and Family Orientation, 2.54; while, significantly on Social Awareness and Responsibility, 2.46 and on Political Affairs/Practices, 2.46.
3. The supplementary reference material entitled “Delving into the Quadricentenial Churches of the Province of Camarines Norte: Their Contributions to the CamNorteños”, was crafted so as to preserve and promote the Catholic faith, culture and traditions through meaningful education in traditional classroom settings.

Conclusions
Based from the findings, the following conclusions were drawn:
1.  The quadricentennial churches kept the local folks faith in God amidst the passing of time and the challenges of modern living. These churches are proofs of the long and steadfast catholic faith of the people in Camarines Norte despite the influences of modern technologies, globalization and growth of religious sects.
2. The three quadricentennial churches had contributed significantly to education, family orientation, social awareness and responsibility and the towns’ political practices.
3. The prepared output entitled “Delving into the Quadricentenial Churches in the Province of Camarines Norte: Their Contributions to the CamNorteños”, is a supplementary reference material for teaching Araling Panlipunan and History subjects.

Recommendations
Based on the findings and conclusions, the researcher recommends that:
1. Local historians and other research enthusiasts may continue to unearth and record the significant events, cultures, practices and traditions of Camarines Norte using technology to ensure widest dissemination and preservation of the historical records.
2. A strong relationship should be maintained with the community, various government and non government sectors like different societal groups, religious and education sectors, family and individuals so that the church can continue to imbue the Catholic faith and transform individuals as persons with sense of purpose and meaning, morality and integrity.
3.  The utilization of the supplementary reference material is imperative. DepEd may consider evaluating this material to establish its validity and reliability.

Social entrepreneurship is a topic of growing interest among academicians and practitioners. The world has changed, and continues to change, at unparalleled speeds. Education and skills requirements for the future will have completely new dimensions and global education systems will need to adapt quickly to equip the world's young people for the new demands. It is time to rethink education systems, the stakeholders and the foundational concepts. The potential of social problems in India is well known, but the degree of support and interest is hardly significant. An entrepreneurial mindset is re-emerging in India. Right from ancient times, India has been entrepreneurial. But the era of liberalization of late had released the genie from the bottle – the suppressed urge and natural instincts of our effervescent entrepreneurial class has once again been unleashed. The opening up of the industrial sector to foreign competition had created a flutter among the Indian industrial circles. The paper attempts to shed light on the present state of affairs on the theme of challenges and opportunities facing the social entrepreneurship scene in India. Current education systems are struggling to meet the rapid pace of change and the needs of millions of learners. By offering new thinking on old challenges, social entrepreneurs aim to fill the gaps left open by traditional actors, whether in terms of access, pedagogies or learning tools.

"A suggestive Mix of Divinity and Bestiality". Friedrich Schlegel's Concept of the (Un-)Human. The mix of "divinity" and "bestiality" as the embodiment of mankind conceived as "infinitely opposed" in Friedrich Schlegel's (1772-1829) earlier essays has eventually been represented as a "harmonious composition" (KFSA 1: 230) in his novel Lucinde (1799). The present paper investigates the extent to which Friedrich Schlegel's narrative transposition of "divinity" and "bestiality" proves itself as relevant for the reflection upon anthropological concepts around 1800 as well as its continuities.
