GENERAL
1.1 Scope of Work
This calculation note is prepared for design of Removable Side structure.
1.2 Standard, Codes, and Reference
The listed below documents are applicable standard, codes, and reference to be used
to support this calculation :
- American Institute of Steel Construction Thirteenth Edition ( AISC 13th)-LRFD
1.3 Basic Assumption
1.3.1 Material
- Structural Steel, JIS 3101 SS400
Specified minimum yield stress : Fy = 2500 kg/cm2
Specified minimum tensile stress : Fy = 4000 kg/cm2
- Welding AWS D1.1, Electrode E70XX ( Grade 70)
Specified minimum yield stress : Fvw = 0.3 Fu = 1476 kg/cm2
Specified minimum tensile stress : Fu = 4920 kg/cm2
1.3.2 Software
The structure will be analyzed with STAAD PRO structural analysis computer
programming.
