The document summarizes the experiences of a student over the course of a 10-day sewing immersion program at Jenbal's Tailoring. On the first few days, the student learned basic sewing skills like using different machines and making patterns. They then spent the next several days sewing pieces of a summer outfit like the top, sleeves, and shorts. The last few days focused on techniques like sewing plackets and polo shirts. By the end of the 10 days, the student felt they gained valuable sewing skills that they are thankful to have learned from the program hosts.

DAY 1
I thought working in your choosing field would
be a lot easier because you already have a background on what you are going to do but everything that my mind expects is all wrong. Working in the real field is like being an ignorant child, you have to adjust in the surrounding, the people around you and everything. Make emotions. I am bit nervous and excited for what will going to happen in my first day of work immersion. I am new to everything I don’t think I would be an effective sewer. In this day we are excited meeting new friends coming from MNHS students. We are just introducing our school then Sir Baldo just have an orientation about sewing. He also teaches us one by one on how to manipulate edger and high speed lockstitch sewing machine. Also Sir Baldo pair us so that we can get the accurate measurement of everyone. Then next thing we do is we made a pattern for our summer jersey attire. DAY 2
In our immersion we are all happy because we
start cutting fabric, after cutting we started sewing. First thing we sew, is the design for the top of the summer jersey. Our design is simple but it is not easy to sew, but we did our best to make it beautiful. After the design, we sew the body of our summer attire then we connect the design to the body. At the end day we’ve done sewing the design for our body summer attire. DAY 3
On the third day of our immersion we continue
sewing for our summer attire we sew first the collar. Sewing the collar is simple we’ve made it immediately, in sleeve we’ve made it almost 2 hours. It is hard to connect because sometimes the fabric has lack and sometimes it is too much, but at the end of the day we’ve finally done making the upper part of summer attire. We are very happy seeing that the upper part of the jersey is already done. DAY 4
In this of our immersi0n I am so excited on how
to sew the lower part of our summer attire. We’ve made already a jersey before but Sir Baldo's process in making a jersey is really different his process is so hard and it’s difficult to sew, but we don’t have any choice. Whether we like it or not we need to follow the instructi0ns and processes. We still continuing the jersey short even if it is our first time to sew that kind of jersey short. Sometimes we make mistake then when it is not good in looking we will back to the top again and again then we will give it to auntie Sarim or Sir to check if it is okay or good. DAY 5
In this day is the continuation of our immersion
and it is also the day that we will continue to sew our jersey short, even its hard to sew we didn’t give up we still continuing sewing the jersey. The hardest part in sewing our jersey short is in the part of the garter it is not an easy or we cannot make it fast to finish because Auntie Sarim want that the lining in the garter part of our short is straight. DAY 6
On the sixth day of our immersion we continue
sewing our short. Sewing short is not so easy we feel so tired but at the same time happy because finally we’ve done our output which is summer attire. We are happy and tired but it is all worth it because the time we spent for sewing had an advisable outcome result. DAY 7
On the seventh day of our immersion we just
sew another upper jersey because Sir Baldo told us to sew it. We have nothing else to do because we already done sewing our output or summer jersey attire. DAY 8
In this day we just continue sewing the upper
part of the jersey in which Sir baldo mandate us to sew. Then Sir Baldo also command us to fold the t-shirt that he print. And at the end of the day we actually made a ten (10) upper jersey. We are all happy seeing our finished product. DAY 9
On the 9th day Auntie Mollaneda teach us on
how to sew a placket. We didn’t make it perfect so Sir and Auntie Sarim teach us again the new and easy way of sewing a placket so at the end of the day we already know the technique on how to sew a placket. DAY 10
On the tenth day or should I say the last day of
our immersion we are very happy realizing that our immersion end. In this day we are just sewing polo shirt for Joshue to test our learning in sewing specially in the placket part. And then we sew pot holder, we are happy because we come up a lots of learning that we can use in our daily life. We are very much thankful to the Sarim Family for sharing their learnings on how to sew. And how to be good sewer. JENBAL’S TAILORING
