SHS within Caloocan ES
(TR=TC). It is calculated School ID:businesses
in order for 342209 to determine on what number of

units the enterprises will recover its total cost of production. It serves as the lower
limit to which the enterprises would base their number of outputs. More often
than not, the break even point serves as the benchmark for the company if it
would be profitable to sell a proposed product, as opposed to attempting to
modify an existing product instead so it can be made lucrative. Break even
analysis can also be used to analyze the potential profitability of an expenditure
in a sales-based business.

The break-even analysis for the operation of Four Yeoja Sweetshop is

done to determine the minimum number of styro box cassava ground ball must
produce in order to avoid losses. The important factors or items that were
considered in the calculation of the break-even point were the fixed costs,
variable costs, selling price per unit, and number of units produced.

Fixed costs refer to all costs that do not vary as production increases or
decreases. Variable unit cost is the cost that varies directly with the production of
one additional unit. The expected unit sales is the number of units of the product
projected to be sold over a specific period of time. On the other hand, unit price is
the amount of money charged to the customer for each unit of a product. In the
calculation of the break-even point of Four Yeoja Sweetshop the formula that
was used was:

For Four Yeoja Sweetshop, two BEP’s were computed. First, is for the 1 piece
