ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
There is no deadline for submitting applications to study at GESS except for grades 11 and 12.
Final acceptance and admission into GESS will be based on a comprehensive review of all documentation,
applicant’s language proficiency level and additional learning support needs, if any. GESS reserves the right to
accept or reject an application.

New students to Grade 11 may start within the first two weeks of Semester 1, after which, no new applicants
ADMI S S I O will be accepted. Direct entry in Grade 12 of the IB Diploma programme is dependent on complete subject
alignment.

GESS follows a 12 year system which is different to the 13 year system used mainly by British curriculum All student applications are submitted online through our application portal. We recommend that you prepare
schools. the documents required in Step 1 before starting the application. It will take 20-30 minutes to complete the
application. Unless further reports or testing is required, the application process should take 7 days.
Below is a guide to the conversion of grades / years of the two systems. Please note the GESS grade placement
system is the system used for placing students in a grade.

The menu is available online in the Parent Portal and also in school and has
nutritional information, allergen information and ingredients lists for all menu items
being served at GESS.
While the kitchen does its best to ensure that recipes are true to the claims made,
