Ano ang Dengue Fever?

Ang Dengue ay isang sakit na galing sa mikrobio na naihahawa sa tao sa pamamagitan ng kagat ng Aedes na na babaeng lamok. Ang
Dengue ay hindi ma ikakalat na tuwiran ng tao sa tao.

Ang Dengue ay wala pang gamot pero ito ay maaaring maagapan. Sa Pilipinas, sa limang taon, ang kaso ng dengue ay 185,008; sa
limang taon, ang namatay ay 732. (2012-2016 data).
 II. SIMTOMAS NG DENGUE

panghugas na ihinalo sa isang galon na tubig. Ulitin ito sa dalawa o tatlong araw. Ito‘y hindi kasama sa tangke na pag-ipunan
ng inumin na tubig.
 Siguraduhin na ang imbakan ng tubig ay may panangga laban sa lamok.
 Patayin ang lamok sa loob ng bahay sa pamamagitan ng pampatay ng lamok (insecticide).

Protektahan ang sarili:

 Magpahid sa balat ng lotion na may “DEET” (N, N-diethyl-meta- toluamide) Magtanong sa parmacia o hanapin sa website ang
tungkol sa DEET.
 Magsuot ng mahabang pantalon at damit na may mahabang manggas, medyas at sapatos lalong lalo na sa madaling araw at
kung palubog na ang araw na ang mga lamok ay magagsik na kumagat.
