Testimony in Using The Strategic Intervention Material
I Ernani M. Florendo Jr who’s currently teaching at Rosario Integrated School and have been
using SIM-Strategic Intervention Material since I was employed in this school. SIM plays a big
part in my profession in honing my learners to become a competent individual of the society
and enables them to realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to building the
nation. This teaching-learning kit is devised for the benefit of both teachers and pupils. Its goals
are to encourage pupils’ interest; learn specific lesson, concepts and skills; and apply learned
skills and concepts into real life situations.
I believed this material is an effective strategic teaching aid for us teachers in carrying out
objectives on least learned lessons. It is a module that contains variety of activities such as
puzzles, games, vivid illustrations, concept map used to motivate and stir up the attention and
interest of the pupils.
Strategic Intervention Material is definitely an effective idea for us all to get used to, and it can be
particularly interesting for young learners. I have done such a great job with launching this new way for
our kids to learn. We’ve been enjoying our daily Learning activities and I’ve been learning about new
things as I go through the activities with my learners as well on how am I going to improves my
materials, so that it will be more effective to my learners who have different learning capacity. The
themes we have been learning about have been great for connecting different areas of learning and
extending activities which they can do at home as well. I also appreciate the parent’s engagement with
the material. It’s a great resource for us to have not only for the assignments, but also to continue using
for my learners to learn and understand well our lesson.
It was observed that majority of my learners are very committed, and I see how enthusiastic and excited
they are in learning through this intervention. They are eager to learn and see their classmates and
teachers every day! I would say they has become more mature and independent during this process.
Furthermore, the SIM has the great advantage of presenting a range of exercises and real-time sessions
that can be tailored to learner’s needs and interests. Every day, this intervention offers all sorts of
activities that my learners are so excited to be part of.
