Among all the art work that we have done, this is the art work that madee weary and exhausted, not to
mention we didn't sleep one night just to finished it.We laso had a hard time thinking about the
materials that we should use.We are walking along the street that time on our way home but
unexpectedly we had seen a small co pnut tree abundant with small coconut on it so we have decided to
get it eventhough people is watching us,they maybe thinking that we are crazy but we didn't mind those
stares instead I closed my eyes said in mind"This is for our grades, those people have nothing to do with
it."I swallowed my pride for the sake of our grades. The most difficult is that it's so embarrassing caring
those small coconut because people in the street are watching us but I fight the urge to throw it away,I
hold it firmly in my hand.We have spend a long period of time thinking about the design but thanks to
my partner we have come up with the design that really fit in our taste.A girl wearing a magnificent
gown wearing a glimpse of smile, holding a basket with an umbrella on the other hand and as you
observe her back is facing us because we want to emphasize something about the gown.I spend almost
9 hours making this.We often forget that we are part of the nature.Nature is not something separate
from us.So when we say that we lose connection to the nature,we've our connection to ourselves. While
we are creating this we are seeking to investigate our human relationship with the environment through
embedding their artistic practice within it. This changes the way we think about the site of artistic
production. We are engaging in the natural world in a much more active and immediate way either by
working in new ways outside, or by bringing natural materials into new settings. We often use natural
materials such as leaves, flowers, branches, ice, soil, sand, and water as the very basis of their artwork.
Moreover, in choosing to situate their work in specific places, we often seeks to both transform the way
that the site is viewed, whilst also revealing what was already there. This demands that viewers and
audiences rethink how they "see" the world around them and pay more direct attention to the minute
and distinct parts that make up what we may overlook as a cohesive environment.
Fire Photograhy
We really enjoy doing this art
work with my partner,it's really fun capturing the light with darkness around it,Although the
materials of this art work is just simple;light, darkess, match and camera but still we
encountered difficulty specially in chosing the design because my partner want a candle around
the darkness while me I want a bonfire around the darkess because it sounds romantic. But the
end we agree to have the bonfire not because I want it but because we realized something
about it.I'm proud to say that the fire photography that we have made is not contimanated
with any filter,it's the original because we realized that it is beautiful in its own and natural
beauty.Since ancient times, humans have been close friends with fire. As we learn from the
history books, our ancestors worshiped fire as a spirit of warmth and protection. And with the
years, this bond has become stronger and stronger. Medieval people used flames to cleanse
sins, and in the coming centuries fire was at the heart of the Industrial Revolution. The whole
history of humanity developed on the background of fire. And now, after all these millenia of
close friendship and mutual respect, how is it possible to avoid the temptation to capture it
with your camera? Especially when fireplace pictures provide so much opportunity to reveal
your love and creativity. And, of course, the presence of flames always adds a magical
atmosphere to shots. People love seeing romantic couples sitting in front of a bonfire, a bunch
of friends laughing and sharing a late night barbeque, and lonely dreamers peacefully resting
near the bonfire after hiking in the woods. All these plots and many more can be put in the
center of your fire photography. It's covers 3 hours for us to choose among the image which
one is the best.
Opt Art
This art work is a very difficult one because your not just going to draw something on a piece of
bondpaper but you need to think a design that would create an illusion. The process of making
this is like a rich,it's hard. The most difficult is that thinking about the design and the
materials. The materials is not that costly,it's just a piece of bondpaper, pencil, colorpen and
marker. But me and my partner come up with a different design so we have decided to make
two art work,I let her make her own and I make mine.Because we understand that we have
different feelings that need to convert and express through this art.The design reflect
something about love. Those sharp edge and rolling design stand for something about how love
works and end.It covers more than 6 hours for us to finished this art work.Opt Art is not meant
to represent reality. Due to its geometrically-based nature, Op Art is, almost without exception,
non-representational. Artists do not attempt to depict anything we know in real life. Instead, it
is more like abstract art in which composition, movement, and shape dominate. We had made
this design because their is a time when meanings were focuse and open and reality could be
fixed, when that sort of belief disappeard, things became uncertain and open to
interpretation. The two creative expressions art and science form an imaginary construct that is
in accord with our sensibility and contemporary knowledge. We have always believed that
perception is the medium through which states of being are directly experienced.
Stone Art
Honestly speaking, the process of creating this art work is not a piece of cake.Along the way we
have encountered many difficulties regarding the materials and process of making a plan on
how to make it.The materials of this art work is not costly because we had recycle some of the
parts of the artwork specially the surface of it which is a Ply wood.We are the one who cut it
and honestly we had hard time cutting the ply wood because we don't know how to use
jigsaw. We had wash and brush the stones to make it shiny as we apply the paint and one more
thing, the pain is not new,it just an old paint that we had recycle to make it useful.Aside from
those difficulty that we had encountered in terms of the materials we also had a hard time
thinking about the design. We even had a argument and disagreement because we have
different idea but at the end we decided to unite our idea into one.A ball, basketball court and
Kobe Bryant. So that that is the result and the product of our hard work which cover 9 hours
before we have done it.Commemorating someone's great doings eventhough if they are not
already part of the world we are living.Through the stone art we have given a chance to honor
one of the great basket ball player who had made a great contribution in the world of
basketball.Irs hard to find a silver lining but if we have to dig enough. We find comfort in that
the fact that their is sense of community in grief. We often taken for granted the importance of
stone but it can also be useful in any way that we didn't expect we could.
