6. (a) Derive the expression for attennation factor for TE mode in guided waves.
(b) Find the cutoff frequency for TE12 mode in a rectangular wave guide whose

(b) Calculate the attenuation constant and phase constant for a uniform plane

6. (a) What is the power transmitted in a lossless waveguide?


(b) Find the broad wall dimension of a rectangular waveguide when the cut-off

velocity of wave propagating in a distortion less transmission line.
