Project: I investigated the vulnerability of oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPCs) to
inflammation-induced oxidative stress, which results in the incapacity of OPCs to overcome remyelination failure in multiple sclerosis. Given the lack of therapeutics in the chronic stage of disease, I performed molecular modelling and docking studies as promising CNS structure-based drug discovery strategy.
