DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS

Physics Programme: Bachelor of Science (Honours) Physics

Objective

Physics, as the philosophy of nature (or natural philosophy), forms the base of all sciences (or
knowledge, from Latin Sciential, knowledge; from scire, to know) and technology. The
graduates of the programme are expected to be versatile and empowered to go into training in any
field of intellectual and practical endeavour.
