In detail, describe your SEL Proposal:
Hello All!
Bronx ASCS would like an SEL program called Hearts and Hands Professional Development for our students. Ms. Halloway, our school counsellor, had the pleasure of working with this company, and she stated that other iLearn campuses also had an experience working with them. This SEL training will help our students and teachers understand the tools and strategies to implement in our school environment with Social Emotional Learning. We believe that our scholars would benefit most from "Let's Keep Them Safe: Part 1 Bullying Awareness, and Part 2 Cyber Safety" sessions. According to Ms. Halloway’s research, the sessions focus on discussions and activities that will provide information and lots of strategies to assist
in educating students on the prevention of bullying and cyber safety.
This will help establish and enforce rules and policies that clearly describe how students are expected to treat each other while reinforcing our core values of honesty, respect, compassion, and integrity. Each session is 45 minutes long and can be held during an assembly for the
