    Ghoul Security Guard Attributes

    Often derided as ‘Barney Fifes’ Strength 3, Dexterity 2, Stamina 2,
    or ‘rent-a-cops,’ security guards are Presence 2, Manipulation 2,
    the ubiquitous presence at most Composure 3
    medium or large institutions, from
    schools to warehouses to hospitals. Mental Skills
    Most times they’re poorly trained and Academics 2, Athletics 2, Brawl 2,
    paid only minimum wage to walk a Computer 1, Drive 2, Empathy 2,
    long, boring beat or to sit at a desk Firearms 1 or 2, Intimidation 1,
    and stare at cameras all night long Investigation 2, Medicine 1, Stealth 1,
    Streetwise 1, Subterfuge 2, Weaponry 1
    Often middle-aged and
    overweight (many security guards are Merits
    retired cops), with a sharply pressed Allies 2, Contacts 2, Status 1
    uniform. Security guards carry a large
    flashlight, a set of keys, and sometimes Willpower 6
    wear a radio. They are frequently
    unarmed, though some carry non-
    □□□□□□□□□□
    lethal weapons such as pepper spray Morality 7
    or a collapsible baton.* Virtue Justice
    Vice Pride or Wrath
    Most security guards are tired, Health 7

    When confronted with signs of trouble Initiative 5
    they typically have one of two Defence 2
    reactions: try to pawn off the problem Speed 10
    on someone else (calling the cops or
    hunkering down in their golf cart and Disciplines
    calling for backup), or charging Undecided*
    headlong into the situation, eager for Vitae/per Turn 2/1
    some action. However, given their
    warped demeanour and sensibilities □□□□□□
    due to their enslaved and dependant
    existence, these security guards might
    shoot first and ask questions later,
    regardless of any provocation…

    * Disciplines are dependant on the regnant. Newly created ghouls possess a single point of an
    appropriate physical discipline; experienced ghouls may possess more discipline variety/proficiency.
