Business Analyst Job Description:

The Business Analyst will review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs. The incumbent
will document requirements, define scope and objectives, and will formulate systems to parallel overall
business strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities

 Requirements Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and


document comprehensive technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and
technical feasibility.
 Software Development Support: Work closely with software development teams to provide clear
requirements, facilitate agile development processes, and address technical issues as they arise.
 Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans, ensuring that technical solutions
meet quality and performance standards through rigorous testing and validation.
 Change Management: Develop strategies to manage and communicate technical changes
effectively, mitigating resistance and ensuring a smooth transition for end-users.
 Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their relevance for
the organization, making recommendations for technology adoption and improvements.
 Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for technical enhancements, process
improvements, and cost savings, driving ongoing optimization efforts.
 Risk Management: Assess technical and project risks, proactively identifying potential issues and
developing risk mitigation plans to ensure project success.
 Collaboration: Foster collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring
that business needs and technical solutions are well-aligned.
 Domain Knowledge: Develop expertise in the industry domain to understand unique challenges
and technical requirements, aligning solutions with industry best practices.

 5 – 7 years of prior business analysis experience
 Technical Proficiency: Profound knowledge of technical concepts, systems, and tools, with
expertise in data analysis, software development, and system design.
 Requirements Management: Strong ability to elicit, document, and manage technical
requirements, ensuring they align with business objectives and can be implemented effectively.
 Data and System Analysis: Proven analytical skills to dissect complex systems, identifying
opportunities for improvement, integration, and innovation.
 Testing and Quality Assurance: Skilled in developing and executing test plans to ensure technical
solutions meet high-quality and performance standards.
 Change Management: Strong change management skills to facilitate smooth transitions for end-
