4. PROCEDURES 4.1 Introductory Activity:


Picture Analysis

- Show pictures to students and let them guess


the speech style displayed in the picture.
4.2 Activity:
Viewing Activity
- Let students view a video clip.
4.3 Analysis:
a. Small Group Discussion – Let students form 5 groups.
b. Let them answer the following questions:
Who are involved?
What is the situation?
How do the characters express their message?

4.4 Abstraction:

a.Processing of group outputs – teacher highlights key


words that emerge in the discussion
b. Teacher facilitates deepening of the lesson by giving
examples.

- Teacher asks students to do comparison and
contrast of language forms in the given speech
styles

- Students produce an audio clip employing
appropriate language form in using a particular
speech styles
