3. LEARNING RESOURCES Multimedia presentation, rubrics, printed samples

4. PROCEDURES 4.1 Introductory Activity:


a. Show a Math tutorial video on factoring
b. Call on some students to share their insight about
the video presented
4.2 Activity:
Gallery walk
- Group students to 5 groups and let them view
samples posted on the walls of the classroom.
4.3 Analysis:
a. Small Group Discussion – Let students form 5 groups.
b. Let them answer the following questions:
- What can you say about the samples viewed?
- What information does each of the diagrams
contain?
- What do you think is the purpose of using a
diagram?

4.4 Abstraction:

a. Synthesis of key points – teacher highlights key words


that emerge in the discussion
b. Teacher reinforces learning by giving examples.
4.5 Application:
Concept Mapping
- Teacher will give short information and let each
group make a graphic organizer.
4.6 Assessment:
Analysis of Learners’ Products
- Students are asked to write a short paragraph
about Climate Change and design an appropriate
graphic organizer to represent information.
4.7 Assignment - Group Activity
Enhancing – students are instructed to look for a sample
graphic organizer and interpret the information in
paragraph form.
4.8 Concluding Activity:
Recite a Prayer
