    TRAINING ON STRENGTHENING INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITIES OF BARANGAY ANTI-DRUG ABUSE COUNCIL


    (SICAP-BADAC)

    ACTIVITY DESIGN

    I. RATIONALE

    The use of illegal drugs is a serious threat to our health, well-being, and national security. President Rodrigo Roa
    Duterte has acknowledge its proliferation as a primary hindrance to the development of the community. It is imperative
    that the BADAC with the technical assistance form the PNP, DILG, and DDB accelerate the campaign against illegal drug.

    Advisory signed by Eduardo M. Año, Secretary to the Interior and Local Government, dated July 14, 2021 thereby
    directing the implementation of the roll-put training activities on Strengthening Institutional Capacities of Barangay Anti-
    Drug Abuse Council. The barangay received a memorandum from the DILG VII- Bohol to participate in the roll-out training
    for the Province of Bohol to be conducted via CISCO-Webex on October 19-20, 2021 from 8:00am to 5:00 pm.

    The training activity intends to provide the BADACs with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to
    effectively perform their duties and functions.

    Hence, this activity is necessary.

    II. OBJECTIVES:

    To orient the BADAC on their roles in the conduct of (a) Barangay Drug Clearing Program, (b) Drug
    Prevention Program, (c) Community-based Drug Rehabilitation Program, and (d) Aftercare and Reintegration
    Program.

    III. METHODOLOGY

    Methods to be used in this activity is group discussion, lecture and workshops.

    IV. PARTICIPANTS AND MANAGEMENT

    All BADAC Members and other barangay officials.

    V. DATE AND VENUE

    The activity will be conducted on October 19-20, 2021 to be held at Barangay Hall of Candabong

    VI. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENT

    Total budget needed for the whole duration of the activities is ₱ 9,205.00 to be taken from Anti- Illegal
    drugs budget of the local government unit.
