"Have a treat and save some sweets"

The business name is Sweet Streats, “streats” is the combination of the words “street and
treats”, for it is how the entrepreneurs describe their product which is the pastillas. Sweet
Streats means a very delightful treat in the look of street foods that are common and popular in
the country. The logo is from the combination of the products but in a sweet sense. It is made
of the different popular street foods here in the Philippines alongside a special product the
sushi pastillas. It is also made of sweet and colorful colors to attract the eyes and tummy of
customers. The main color of the logo is pink which symbolizes sweetness, it is also mixed in a
gradient of orange and purple, wherein the orange color is a popular color in the food business
since it makes people hungry, and purple indicates something that is of good quality.
BACKGROUND AND BUSINESS CONCEPT

To make sure that the customers will appreciate the delights, Sweet Streats goes through
a process of a well-made pastille. The product is genuinely made from a series of hard work and
ensures that the used ingredients are of top quality. To ensure comfortable profits, entrepreneurs
will work in power to hold it properly and to use it correctly. The cost of the product will be
managed according to the needs of making the product. The business aims to provide sweets-
craving customers with the satisfactory level they need. These sweets come uniquely. These
sweets are varied from the best and keep on improving each day. The enterprise's organizational

strategies are just being “Honest” to customers and product providers. So in that way, the
business can build a strong relationship with its valued customers and product providers.

DESCRIPTION OF THE BUSINESS

Sweet Streats a company that will put quality first. Unlike the products of other
businesses, this product is produced with high-quality powdered and condensed milk, with
special effort used in the packaging. This generation is well-versed in tasty and high-quality food
products, and Sweet Streats is prepared to provide you with the tastiest dessert you have ever
tasted. One of the greatest assets in growing this business is dedication. Entrepreneurs are
dedicated to serving you one of the sweet delights that Filipinos have enjoyed for a very long
time because the business wants you to experience the sweetest renaissance and culture of the
Philippines. The business wants to be remembered as the company that offered the populace
the tastiest treat with a twist.

The main objectives of the business include:

1. To provide a cheap or affordable product that is accessible to everyone.


2. To produce a variety of sweet delicious that is affordable yet unique versions of pastillas
with different flavors based on street foods.
3. To make the customers happy with the variety of pastillas they can choose from.
4. To indulge the customer with the right sweetness of pastillas and sourness of
condiment to satisfy their cravings.
5. To attract and maintain customers.
6. Establish and sustain productivity.

The vision of the business is to be the successful and the best sweets company that
produced delicious pastillas. Sweet Streats strives to offer its customers delicious and superior-
quality goods and services at a cost that they can afford. to create a sweeter world

The mission of the business is to excitedly re-invent the way the customers enjoy the
aforementioned expression of uniqueness, eloquently, and to disprove their assumptions in
order to surpass their expectations. It serves you an exceptional product that is new to this
generation. The business aims to create a product specifically ideal in taste and design. Provide
appreciation to each guest for the opportunity to serve them and give happiness and joy through
the art of food.

MARKETING PLAN

Thinking about the traits of the consumers present in this place will help
entrepreneurs to analyze a proper marketing strategy for their product. Those consumers
are children, teens, and adults who will have an opportunity to purchase this product as
one of the most delicious pastillas that the entrepreneurs have ever made. This product
is great for the consumer, especially for students here at NDTC. This contains ingredients
like powdered milk, condensed milk, a pack of sugar, and food coloring. By that, the
consumer will probably buy the product. The price strategy is an important consideration
for many buyers, and must therefore be given appropriate attention by the entrepreneur.
In order for them to increase their sales, they decided to sell the pastillas product for PHP
10.00 each.

TARGET MARKET

Many Filipinos may it be children, teens or adults loves sweet and tasty desserts
and pastillas are the perfect treats for their sweet tooth. The pastillas are molded like
street foods will surely satisfy the cravings of sweetness of many students at Notre Dame
of Tacurong College. It is one of the most popular sweet snacks in the campus, yet
pastillas made a twist by making it look more like a street food product. The pastillas in
this product are not your typical sugar-coated pastillas; instead, they are pastillas that are
dipped in different sauce.

PRODUCT

These "street foods" pastillas will definitely delight you not with the smoky flavour
but with their tempting milkiness, enjoying your favourite pastillas has never been this
unique. This product is made up of a sweet delicacy that's made from the most basic
ingredients like powdered milk, sugar, and condensed milk. The business aims to provide

world-class quality sweets to customers; the entrepreneurs plan to succeed in every part
of the business. These pastillas are surely made from high-quality ingredients. The
business aims to provide sweets-craving customers with the satisfactory level they need.
These sweets come uniquely. These sweets are varied from the best and keep on
improving each day.

PRICE

The price is the sum of money used to reimburse all of the expenditures and
expenses incurred in order to produce the good. Even with the different look of product,
“street food” pastillas can be purchased at a price of P15.00 for each piece.

PLACE

The business is located at the lobby of Senior Highschool building at Notre Dame
of Tacurong College, Lapu-Lapu Street Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat.

PROMOTION

An important component of the business is not just the products, but also the
services. In addition to the business full-service delivery, the following are other important
service elements that the business are ready to offer to the customers: Ideas to help
customers increase sales through menu development, creative promotions, co-op
advertising, and much more. Custom-designed marketing material such as printed
banners, promotional posters, stickers, etc.

a. Poster

One of the earliest and most reliable forms of marketing collateral is posters. Posters
are a powerful tool for promoting your products, events, fundraising efforts, and more.
There are nonetheless best practices for a poster design that you should adhere to even
though there is no one correct approach to creating a poster. A poster's primary purpose
is to convey a message to a moving audience. Posters will be handed out or posted
around the corridors of the different infrastructures located inside the NDTC campus.

b. Stickers

Stickers are a simple and casual substitute for conventional marketing strategies for
introducing your business to potential customers. Stickers will be offered, making it a
freebie provided by the business to ensure that it is remembered by the customers.

c. E-promotion

The use of E-promotion as a marketing tool helps suppliers and buyers communicate
with one another. By doing this, the vendor seeks to persuade and influence customers
to purchase their goods or services. It helps to inform consumers about the company, its
goods, and its services. Promotion in business refers to any form of communication that
aims to persuade customers to purchase goods or services. Businesses typically market
their names, goods, and services by figuring out who their target market is and how to
reach them with their message. The business will advertise itself on different social media
platforms in order to make known its available product and services.

PACKAGING

Giving a product a protective and informative covering is known as packaging.


packaging is made of paper rather than plastic since the entrepreneurs want to reduce
the waste of precious resources on it and harm to the environment.

Pastillas

Ingredients:

• 1 cup powdered milk (sifted)


• ¼ condensed milk (2 ounces)
• 2 tablespoon granulated sugar (sifted)
• 3 drops of food colouring

Procedure:

1. Sift 1 cup of powdered milk into a large mixing bowl


2. Add the sugar
3. Drop some food colouring into the condensed milk
4. Gradually pour the condensed milk into the dry mixture
5. Gently mix them together until the texture will be similar to a dough
6. Divide the mixture to its proper measurements and mold them into different street
foods design
7. Then it will be ready to serve!

Cost per unit = 708.25 / 85 pcs. = ₱8.33

Selling price = 8.33 + 1.67 = ₱10.00
