I. OBJECTIVES

A. Content Standard The learner demonstrates understanding of: Philippine literature during the
Period of Apprenticeship as a means of examining conflicts; various purposeful
listening and viewing strategies; difference between literal and figurative
language; ways to extract and condense information based on library sources;
verbal and non-verbal cues in oral communication; and types of phrases,
clauses and sentences.

The learner transfers learning by: resolving conflicts presented in literary


selections; using tools and mechanisms in locating library resources; extracting

III. PROCEDURES
A. Preparatory Activities
1. Greetings The teacher will start the class with a prayer and checking of attendance.

2. Recall  The students will have a short recap of the past lesson.

B. Lesson Proper

The teacher will provide insights that t he creation of the Internet


has changed the way people around the world find information.
1. Presentation Instead of just opening and reading books, dictionaries,
phonebooks, and maps, people often choose the Internet to
find the information they need.

2. Discussion The teacher will discuss the basic steps in finding information using
search engine.
The teacher will help the student recall the concept of search engine
3. Enrichment Activity and its uses by completing the short conversation and define the
search engine by arranging the statement in the box.

5. Generalization Using the graphic organizer below, connect as many words as


possible that you can associate with the use of search engine.

C. Assessment/Agreement Students will list down their three dream jobs in the future. Using the search
engine, they will look for basic information on companies that they might like
to work or in the future.
