ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT ON PROVIDING FREE MUSIC TRAINING TO ALL YOUTH and


INTERESTED IN MUSIC

During summer time particularly during weekends, the school has iniated free music training to all
interested youth and children of the community. The training is held at the Barangay Plaza or sometimes at the
school ground. It is conducted for a maximum of one and a half hour for every session for a period of one week.

Training were held on April 8, 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13. There were at least 35 children and youth who
participated in the training program. Musical instruments such as Guitar and recorder were introduced and were
tried by the participants. Instruments were provided through donation and some were borrowed. Some parents
managed to buy instrument for their children. The trainers are Staff of Paltoc Elementary School and one
volunteer teacher on San Miliano.

At the start of the training, participants showed interest and eagerness in playing musical instruments. There
were at least 26 who finished the training. Some did not continue or dropped at the middle of training due to
personal reasons.
