Pre-lesson:
Pupils recall previous lesson on creating stories
Lesson development:-
1. Teacher guides the pupils to identify the given information and key words
2. Teacher emphasizes that pupils show understanf basic facts of addition to assist in quick addition
3. Teacher emphasizes on collecting enought information to solve the problem. Pupils identify the
unknown for the given problem
4. Teacher guides the pupils to solve problem through simulation using representative
5. Pupils carry out activity by answering “Asah Minda” question to train them identifying incomplete
information in the question (HOTS)
6. Pupils carry out group activity. Each group gets question card on problem solving. Pupils solve the
problem using various strategies (21st CA)
7. Pupils answer the given questions in the exercise book (CBA)

2. Teacher explains the relation between count in twos with repeated addition
3. Teacher guides the pupils to do grouping, arranging and counting objects in twos, fives, fours and
tens using surrounding objects (HOTS)
4. Teacher guides the pupils to write number sentences of repeated addition correctly
5. Pupils relate count in twos with fours and count in fives with tens
6. Pupils carry out solving problem activity for “Asah Minda” questions on page 110, textbook (HOTS)
7. Pupils carry out group activity. Each group gets picture cards of groups of objects. Pupils write

3. Pupils decide their turns before starting the game. When reach box 8 + 9, pupils move the marker
backward if the dice shows more than 1
4. Teacher inculcates noble value of cooperation, honest and etc during the game
