CRITERIA 1. Demonstrate measuring skill and use numbers.
LESSON DEVELOPMENT
1. Pupils are given weighing scale, ruler and digital stopwatch to observe.
SET INDUCTION 2. Pupils work with friends in their group to name the measuring tools, state the unit used or seen on
the tools as well as guessing what is measured using the tools as prompted by teachers.
1. Pupils read and understand the dialogue on page 6 of the textbook
2. Pupils explains what they see in the picture (21st CL)
3. Teacher explains about measurement using appropriate tools
4. In pair, pupils are given stopwatch
ACTIVITIES 5. Teacher explains how to use digital stopwatch (HOTS)
6. Teacher gives sticks of various length to the pupils and explains how to measure the length
correctly (21st CL)
7. Pupils compare their answers with classmates (CBA)
8. Pupils carry out exercise in the activity book, page 4-5
1. Pupils view short videos to conclude today’s lesson.
