Ram Chandra Tantra

Dr Uday Dokras
Can chanting Lord Rama's name fulfill one's wishes? What are some examples of miracles
associated with his name?
There are three ways to attend the moksha:

1. Sankhya Yoga
2. Karma Yoga
3. Bhakti Yoga
Your question is related to Bhakti yoga. In Bhakti yoga, a person has to completely surrender
himself to god. That means he shouldn't have any doubt on god, he shouldn't be worried about
his past, present and future. The person in Bhakti yog should have complete trust on god that he
will accept all his sins and forgive them if he has true regrets. He believes that whatever god is
doing is for good purpose only.

So now coming to your question, if a person is chanting Ram Nama with pure feeling, he will
attend the moksha. The person who is chanting the Ram Nama to only showoff, then it is his
“Karma” and god will decide his fate.

What actually matters is your intention behind your every work

The chanting of the name of Raghuveer grants you a greater result than that of All the names of
All the Deities combinedly provide. Ram Naam is the essence of the Vedas and is the greatest
name of All the names of the Lord! It's greatness is as vast as the holder of the name, Lord Ram
Himself, implying that it's greatness is beyond infinite, has the essence of an infinite universes in
it! It is the embodiment of the Supreme Lord Ram!

So, of course, if you chant Ram Naam with devotion(you can do it without devotion too, but, it
will take way longer to get the results), any of your wishes WILL come true. This is not a blank
statement, but, is backed by all of the Shastras(Syavana Smriti, Skanda Purana, Padma Purana,
Narada Purana, Adhyatma Ramayana, Valmiki Ramayan itself as Valmiki Rishi became a
venerable sage with great knowledge from a bandit with the power of this Ram Naam,
Mahabharat(Vishnu Sahasranama))!

This is a real life incident that happened with my uncle: It was during the COVID-19 pandemic. I
think during February 2021. My uncle had been infected by the virus and was sick for 3–4 days.
We didn’t know that it was Corona, but, due to prolonged illness, his corona positivity had been
checked and it was positive! After a few days, due to no treatment working and due to his
prolonged illness worsening by 100 fold and due to other breathing problems, he was admitted in
ICU. He wasn’t able to even speak properly then and was in a state that appeared very near to
death. But, a real miracle happened! When everyone had lost hope of his survival, when he
hadn’t spoken anything for days, he somehow managed to utter Lord Ram’s infinitely auspicious

1
name(I am NOT bluffing and creating stories here! This actually happened when he heard my
mother’s ringtone of Mangal Bhavan!) once! (I wasn't allowed inside the ICU then, but, I was
just outside and he had literally shouted “Raaam”!)And, after that, his condition actually started

to get better! He, after, another few days even got back from bed and started a new life all due to
the infinitely merciful Lord Ram’s grace!

Jai Anantha Karunaasindhu Raghvendra!!

Sri Rāma Tantra (श्रीराम तन्त्र) is the worship of Sri Rāma by Tantra Upāsana. In
order to accomplish Mantra Siddhi (मन्त्र सिद्धि), it is necessary to get initiated
known as Mantra Dīksha (मन्त्र दीक्षा) from a competent Guru. However, If you
don't have a Guru, then approach the Ādi Guru (आदिगुरु/Universal Guru) Who is Sri
Dakshinā Moorthi (श्रीदक्षिणामूर्ति) Himself.

Procedure for Sri Dakshinā Moorthi (श्रीदक्षिणामूर्ति) Himself.

1. Visit a temple of God Sri Dakshinā Moorthi near by and take permission from Him
by offering Misrī (मिश्री/Sugar Candy/Rock Candy/கற்கண்டு) along with
Channa pulse (चना दाल/Chickpea/சுண்டல்) and a piece of yellow Vastram
(वस्त्रम्/Cloth/வஸ்திரம்) of a meter length.
2. You should begin the initiation (Mantra Dīkshā/मन्त्र दीक्षा) by
chanting Dyāna Sloka of Devata (Rāma/राम) with reverence in front of God
Dakshinā Moorthi, which is given below:
b. Meaning: I always adore Rāgava who is of the charming radiance of dark rain
clouds. He is seated in Vīrāsana posture, and gesture of Jnāna and one hand is
resting on his knee. He is adorned with crown, armlets and various other
ornaments. Sita is lustrous like lightening and is holding a lotus in her hand, is
seated by his side and looking at him.
3. Perform Japa (जप/Repetition) of Moola Mantra (मूल मन्त्र) for 108 times in
front of Him with complete focus. The Shadaksharī (षडक्षरी/Six syllabled
Mantra) Sri Rāma Moola Mantra (राम मूल मन्त्र) is:
a. रां रामाय नमः।
b. Rām Rāmāya Namah।
c. Who is Rishi(ऋषि/Seer/मंत्र द्रष्टा/Who discovered Mantra) :
Brahmā Rishi (ब्रह्मा ऋषि).
What is Chandas(छन्दस्/Metrical Structure of Mantra): Gāyatri
Chandas(गायत्री छन्दस्).
Who is Devatha(देवता): Sri Rāma Devatha (श्रीराम देवता).
What is Beejam(बीजं): Rām (रां)
What is Shakti(शक्ति): Namah (नमः).

4. After completing this initiation (Dīkshā/दीक्षा), you should strongly believe
that Lord Sri Dakshinā Moorthi has blessed you with Mantra Dīksha for the
endeavour you have undertaken. Keep unwavering faith in the Devatha you have
chosen (in your case, it is Rāma /राम) and never switch Devatha in between. Never
discuss about your endeavour or upāsana Devatha with anybody and just maintain the
secrecy all along.
I) How can I attain Siddhi by "Sri Rāma Moola Mantra"? Please read the following post to
observe Purascharanam (पुरश्चरण): Krishna Joshiar's answer to What is Purascharana
(पुरश्चरण) in Tantra Upāsana (तन्त्र उपासना)?

This Devatha Upasana should be performed everyday or according to a solid time table. Based
on your focus, dedication and perseverance you will taste success (Devatha Vasyam/देवता
वश्यम्). This may take few weeks or few years, all in your hands particularly upon your
Prārabdha Karma(प्रारब्ध कर्म) in this birth.
The Purashcharana (पुरश्चरण) generally will have five angas (अङ्ग/Parts) but the
Purashcharana of Rāma Tantra (राम तन्त्र) consists of only the following three
angas(अङ्ग/Parts):

Beware-1: Rishiyādhi Nyāsa (ऋष्यादिन्यास), Kara Nyāsa (करन्यास) and

Hridiyādhi-Shadanga Nyāsa (हृदयादिषडङ्गन्यास) for Rāma Tantra have been
given at the bottom [Refer Appendix]. These Nyāsa should be carried out before beginning of

Beware-2: Before beginning of any karma (कर्मन्/Event), such as Japa or Puja, Sankalpa
(सङ्कल्प/சங்கல்பம்) should be taken for the outcome to be sathkārya
(सत्कार्य/Efficacious). Please read the following post in order to understand thoroughly to
carry out Sankapla: Krishna Joshiar's answer to How important is Sankalp before any puja?
What are the mantras and ways to do it?

The Mamopātta Sankalpa Mantra (ममोपात्त सङ्कल्प मन्त्र/மமோபாத்த

II) Sri Rāma Yantra(श्रीराम यन्त्र): An image of Sri Sīta sameta Rāma as
described in Dyana sloka and a typical Sri Rāma Yantra (श्रीराम यन्त्र) are given
below:

III) Indication of fructification of the Mantra: The feeling of delight and satisfaction, hearing
the sound of wardrums, percussion instruments and songs seeing the Gandharvas
(गन्धर्व/Heavenly Choristers) seeing one’s own brilliance similar to that of the Sun,
conquest over sleep and hunger, feeling pf pleasure in japa(जप), becoming healthy and grave,
absence of anger and greed - If the Sādaka (सादक/Aspirant) knowing the mantras, observe
these symptoms, he should conclude that the Upāsana Devathā is pleased and the fructification
of the Mantra is imminent.
